#FridayFeature : Dennis Rendleman is a current JSOM senior at Indiana University Jacobs School of Music pursuing a triple major in B.M. in Flute Performance, Bachelor of Music Education, and B.S.O.F. with a Musical Theatre concentration and a minor in Conducting.

Dennis began his studies in 2016 and has performed principal roles in IU Opera and Ballet Theater's West Side Story and Bernstein's Mass. He is a Hutton Honors College student, as well as a Hudson and Holland scholar! Dennis is also a student ambassador and tour guide for the Jacobs School Office of Admissions and has participated in Jacobs Intermural Soccer, IU Run Club, and the Vienna Study Abroad program. One of his favorite JSOM experiences was performing with the Summer Philharmonic Hollywood Blockbusters Concert in 2017 and with the African American Choral Ensemble this past spring!

He is currently student teaching at Carmel High School, 3-time reigning National Champions Marching Greyhounds and home to a spectacular concert band that has won state, 5 of the last 7 years. With around 600 students in the band program, Dennis shares that every day is filled to the bring with wonderful music making!
