American flutist Dennis Rendleman toured internationally, from 2022–2024, with Broadway International Group as a musician for the global launch of Rodgers & Hammerstein’s The Sound of Music. Performing on flute, piccolo, and clarinet, he appeared in 216 performances across Singapore, Malaysia, Mainland China, and Hong Kong.
He holds a Master of Music in Flute Performance from The New School’s Mannes School of Music in New York City, where he studied with Judith Mendenhall, principal flutist of the American Ballet Theatre. A proud alumni of Indiana University Bloomington, he completed his undergraduate studies at the world-renowned Jacobs School of Music, earning a Bachelor of Music in Flute Performance under the instruction of Thomas Robertello.

Dennis Rendleman is a musical theatre and orchestral conductor whose work spans cruise line productions and various academic settings. He served as a Resident Music Director and Install Music Supervisor for Norwegian Cruise Line in 2023. His artistic development includes fellowships and training with the Los Angeles Conducting Competition, National Orchestral Institute + Festival Conducting Academy, and the NYU Summer Musical Theatre Conducting Intensive.

Grounded in musical theatre, dance, and immersive live entertainment, Dennis Rendleman is a versatile theatre performer. His credits include featured roles with Disney Cruise Line, as well as stage performances in West Side Story and Mass with Indiana University Opera & Ballet Theatre. His most recent work with Disney Live Entertainment yielded professional experience as an aerial flyer executing aerial stunts in a live entertainment environment.
Known for his adaptability, physical storytelling, and commitment to inclusive, audience-centered work, Dennis blends artistry and professionalism across a wide range of theatrical environments. He holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Musical Theatre from Indiana University Bloomington.

Dennis Rendleman is a classically trained musician and educator with a strong foundation in music pedagogy, performance, and conducting. He earned a Bachelor of Music Education with High Distinction from the Indiana University Jacobs School of Music. Dennis brings experience in both concert and marching band instruction and is licensed in music education for grades PreK–12.
Most recently, Dennis served as Director of Bands at Mead Hall Episcopal School in Aiken, South Carolina, where he led the program to earn multiple Gold ratings at the state level in both solo and ensemble performance.
